Rogers ROLINX Flex Flexible Busbars

Rogers ROLINX Flex is a flexible busbar made with pure copper laminations inside protective PVC insulation. The product is intended for power connections where routing flexibility, vibration or thermal expansion affects the mechanical design.

Applications and configuration

Rogers lists battery-module connections, electrical machinery, UPS equipment, drive systems and power supplies among its applications. ROLINX Flex can be configured with or without rigid portions, and the official product information describes standard and customized lengths.

When defining a connection, consider the installation envelope, terminal positions, current profile and environmental conditions together. Provide the expected movement or vibration and the mounting arrangement to the manufacturer. A flexible construction does not by itself establish a suitable bend radius, current rating or fatigue life for every installation.

Keep the product category clear

ROLINX Flex is a power-interconnection component. It is distinct from a flexible printed circuit and from the dielectric laminates used for RF signal routing. Its product name does not specify wireless standards, network speed or router features.

For a ROLINX enquiry, use the manufacturer’s product and support resources to confirm a suitable configuration and current availability. For a separate RF circuit board in the same system, start with the RF PCB materials directory and prepare a board-specific stackup and fabrication drawing.
