ARLON THERMAVAC is a Rogers silicone material line for making reusable process vacuum bags. Manufacturer information includes silicone sheet and membrane options for industrial vacuum-bagging applications. The product is not a household storage bag for compressing clothing or bedding.
Reusable bag construction places demands on the membrane, seams, seals and attachment details. Rogers documents both cured and uncured material options, so the THERMAVAC name alone does not establish how a particular material should be formed or cured.
Identify the exact grade and supplied condition before planning fabrication. Review the relevant technical data for thickness, mechanical properties and the intended processing environment. Surface texture and the way the bag contacts the tool or part can also affect the assembly design.
Qualification should use the actual tooling and cycle conditions. A material’s temperature capability is not a universal guarantee of bag life, airtightness or chemical compatibility. Evaluate sealing, handling damage and release or contact materials for the proposed process, and document inspection criteria for reuse.

Select the exact grade and thickness against the application requirements, then review the current technical data and processing instructions. Material test results describe particular specimens and conditions; they do not establish the performance or approval status of every finished assembly.
