The AD1000 designation on this page requires verification against an original manufacturer document. The previously published description of a high-end audio amplifier was unsupported and has been removed. This page does not assign an electrical specification, construction or current availability to the unverified designation.
Rogers publishes an AD series of high frequency circuit laminates. However, the current family page alone does not establish the identity or properties of every older designation. Absence from that page is not sufficient evidence that a material never existed or has been discontinued.
For a drawing or legacy bill of materials that says AD1000, obtain the original data sheet, document revision, manufacturer name and full ordering designation. Also identify the required thickness, copper construction and acceptance criteria. A distributor listing or a similar product name should not be used to infer a dielectric constant or processing method.
Until a matching primary document is available, treat this reference as unresolved and do not use it to select a substitute. Any replacement material should be reviewed against the actual circuit requirements and qualified through the applicable design and manufacturing process.
