ROLINX PowerCircuit is a Rogers busbar solution that combines aspects of printed-circuit-board assembly with laminated busbar power distribution. Rogers positions it between conventional PCBs and standard laminated busbars. It is a physical electrical interconnect, not a cloud platform for managing building energy.
The product concept supports compact three-dimensional arrangements and assembly methods such as wave soldering. Relevant uses include power conversion and automotive or industrial electrical systems where the current-handling requirement and packaging call for more than an ordinary signal PCB.
Selection requires more than identifying a nominal current range. Conductor geometry, connection resistance, ambient temperature, cooling and duty cycle all affect the temperature rise of the final assembly. Define the soldered interfaces and supported components alongside the power path.
Check the manufacturer’s current product information against the actual mechanical drawing and assembly process. Do not infer standard PCB trace rules, dielectric properties or manufacturing availability solely from the PowerCircuit name. A proposed design must establish its own electrical and thermal acceptance criteria.
Selection and validation
For a project review, provide conductor geometry, connection locations, insulation clearances, voltage, current waveform and cooling conditions. Validate the complete assembly under its intended electrical, thermal and mechanical loads. A product-family description does not establish the rating of an individual busbar design.
