Rogers ROLINX Thermal is a laminated busbar product for power-conversion equipment. It is designed for applications that require elevated-temperature capability and reliable power interconnections. Rogers lists traction, industrial converters, renewable energy and electricity production among its typical uses.
Assess the complete operating environment
The product is offered with standard and extended humidity capabilities. For selection, identify the actual operating voltage, current waveform, ambient temperature, cooling arrangement and humidity exposure. Confirm the applicable construction and ratings with the manufacturer using current product documentation.
Electrical and thermal requirements need to be considered together. Connection geometry, contact arrangements and mounting constraints should be included in the design package. Ask for an application-specific review rather than inferring the performance of an assembly from a single temperature or voltage figure.
Coordinate the power and signal designs
ROLINX Thermal belongs to Rogers’ busbar portfolio. It is a power interconnection, not a thermal camera or a PCB dielectric laminate. Any control board or RF board in the same equipment requires its own material selection and fabrication specification.
Use Rogers’ official resources for busbar configuration, technical support and current product information. For the circuit-board portion of a project, browse the RF PCB materials directory and define its stackup, operating band and acceptance criteria separately.
