ROLINX Compact is a Rogers busbar product for electrical power distribution in constrained spaces. Its outer insulation uses an epoxy powder coating rather than an insulating film. The construction supports compact conductor shapes and connections where packaging is a major design constraint.
This product is an engineered electrical interconnect, not a handheld multifunction tool. Rogers positions it for compact power systems, including applications that would otherwise use cable connections. The geometry and connection arrangement must match the equipment design.
Evaluate working voltage, insulation clearances, conductor cross-section and temperature rise together. Powder coating does not remove the need to assess exposed terminals, mounting hardware, edge conditions or the environment around the assembly. Connector position and assembly tolerances also affect whether a compact part can be installed without unintended mechanical stress.
Use the current product information and a controlled drawing when discussing an application. Ratings and dimensions from one custom construction should not be transferred to a different busbar solely because both use the Compact name.
Selection and validation
For a project review, provide conductor geometry, connection locations, insulation clearances, voltage, current waveform and cooling conditions. Validate the complete assembly under its intended electrical, thermal and mechanical loads. A product-family description does not establish the rating of an individual busbar design.
