Project services · Define the requested work
RF PCB project services begin with a clear deliverable. Use this directory to choose the right review path for a new design, prototype, repeat order or assembled board. The linked pages explain the information needed to turn a general enquiry into a construction-specific proposal.
Identify whether you need material and stackup review, bare-board fabrication, assembly, testing or order planning. Provide the files and acceptance requirements for that scope. A service topic is an enquiry route; availability, process limits, price and schedule must be confirmed for the proposed project.
Match the enquiry to its review path
| Requested work | Start here | Useful handoff |
|---|---|---|
| RF bare-board construction | High-frequency PCB | Fabrication data and critical RF features |
| Mixed-material build | Hybrid stackup | Layer proposal and material constraints |
| Component assembly | RF PCB assembly | BOM, placement and assembly requirements |
| Inspection and measurement | Quality and testing | Required evidence and acceptance criteria |
| Commercial proposal | Project quote | Revision, quantity and delivery scope |
Start a new design with a reviewable package
For a new RF board, begin with the operating band, circuit purpose and sensitive features. The high-frequency PCB guide organizes the fabrication discussion. Send the available drawing and stackup even when some decisions remain open, clearly marking provisional items. A useful initial response identifies the construction questions that must be resolved before an order can be defined.
Resolve materials and bonding together
Use the material selection guide for candidate screening and the hybrid stackup guide when several dielectric systems are proposed. Name the baseline if the request concerns a substitution. Include foil, thickness and bonding assumptions so a quotation is based on an identifiable build, with any alternative kept visible for engineering approval.
Prepare a prototype around the uncertainty
The RF prototype resource is the route for an initial build intended to resolve a design or manufacturing question. Identify the structures the prototype must represent and the evidence expected from it. Quantity alone does not define a useful trial. Attach the operating conditions and decision criteria that will determine whether the design can proceed.
Separate fabrication from assembly requirements
For populated boards, continue to RF PCB assembly. Add the bill of materials, placement data, assembly drawing and component-sourcing responsibilities to the fabrication package. Identify special attachment or handling requirements for review. State whether the requested deliverable is a bare board, an assembled board or an assembly accompanied by a defined functional test.
Agree what the inspection report must answer
Visit quality and testing to organize inspection and report scope. Connectivity, dimensional inspection, impedance measurement and RF characterization answer different questions. Specify which evidence is required with the order and which testing will happen after assembly. The test-report guide helps connect methods, samples and reference planes to the actual acceptance requirement.
Make commercial comparisons use the same scope
Use the cost worksheet to record assumptions after defining the requested build. Two prices are difficult to compare when one includes special coupons or assembly and the other does not. Keep setup, testing and delivery basis visible. Request quantities separately where useful, and identify whether engineering changes or a repeat-order baseline affect the proposal.
Plan the schedule around required decisions
The lead-time planning guide helps organize the stages between file review and delivery. Provide a needed date with its commercial or project context, then request a confirmed schedule. Material sourcing, unresolved engineering questions, test scope and shipping arrangements can affect the plan. Treat an unconfirmed planning date as an open item rather than an accepted delivery commitment.
Send the request to the appropriate contact route
Use the quote form for files and a defined manufacturing request, or contact to explain a preliminary question. Include a clear owner for engineering approval and one controlled revision of the package. For repeat work, reference the previously accepted construction and identify changes. That gives the reviewer a practical starting point for the new scope.
Prepare a reviewable engineering request
Check only the requirements you have actually documented. This list records readiness; it does not inspect your files or certify a design. Missing information is useful: identify it explicitly so the engineering review can resolve it before a production release.
These inputs are processed in your browser and are not submitted by this tool. The downloaded summary is a plain-text planning record. Use the secure quote form to send files; request an NDA first if your project requires one.
Manufacturing context
RFPCB and PCBSync share the manufacturing facility shown below. These process photographs illustrate the production environment; they are not evidence that a particular board, material grade or RF performance has been qualified. Request the documentation and inspection scope applicable to your project.

Choosing the project service
Does this directory confirm every listed build is available?
No. Linked service topics describe review routes. Material sourcing, fabrication feasibility and accepted limits are confirmed against the exact project package.
Can I request fabrication and assembly together?
Describe both scopes and supply the required fabrication, BOM, placement and assembly information. The proposal should identify responsibilities and the deliverables included.
What should I send if the stackup is unfinished?
Send the current concept, circuit requirements and fixed constraints. Mark provisional layers or materials so the review can address them explicitly.
Is RF testing included automatically?
Define the required measurement and report scope in the request. Do not assume that a bare-board electrical test includes RF characterization or assembled-product testing.
Continue your engineering review
Describe the work and the required result
Send one current package with the requested build stage, quantity and acceptance scope. Identify the decisions still open so the proposal can address them before production is released.
